Holiday networking party brings cheer to Texas brokers

IRL announces partnership with Argent Mortgagemortgagepress.comIndyCar Series, Argent sponsorship, Indianapolis 500 The Indy Racing League (IRL) and Irvine, Calif.-based Argent Mortgage Company LLC have announced a partnership that makes Argent the official mortgage company of the IRL IndyCar Series and the Indianapolis 500. "We are proud to partner with the IRL as their official mortgage company for the IndyCar Series and the Indianapolis 500," said Wayne Lee, president of Argent Mortgage Company. "At Argent Mortgage, we don't just sponsor motor sports; we are inspired by the people who bring IndyCar racing to fans every weekend throughout the season. In the same way, we are building the most efficient and smartest company in the business and helping independent mortgage brokers provide the best possible loan products and service to homeowners across America." Argent is serving as primary sponsor of the number 16 IndyCar Series entry driven by Danica Patrick and co-primary sponsor of the number 15 IndyCar Series entry driven by 2004 Indianapolis 500 winner Buddy Rice. Also, Argent was the presenting sponsor of a recent IRL event at Phoenix International Raceway, and will also be the title and presenting sponsor for three IndyCar Series races in 2005. In addition, Argent will sponsor the IRL's year-end Fastest Lap Award, which will present $25,000 to the entrant of the driver who posts the highest number of fastest laps during the 17-race IndyCar Series season. Argent will also offer $2,500 to the driver who posts the fastest lap on each day of practice at Indianapolis during the month of May.
