Fidelity National Financial Inc. has renovated BuyBankHomes.com,
the company's Web site marketing properties that have completed the
foreclosure process. The company has also launched Paragon Wireless
Interface, a wireless connection to Multiple Listing Service (MLS)
data.
The Web site features a new user interface and property search
capabilities. Users are no longer required to be familiar with
specific property location data such as city or zip code. This map
search feature allows users to start with a broader area, like a
state, and zoom in on a specific area to see a visual indicator of
available bank-owned properties without the need to identify the
cities or zip codes for those property search areas. Properties
located on the maps are shown in tandem with links to specific
information about those properties.
With BuyBankHomes.com, users can also place online bids on
foreclosed properties that will be presented at live onsite
auctions. Users can receive e-mail notification about bank-owned
properties for sale and choose from a variety of bidding
subscription packages. BuyBankHome.com has also included
educational information to ensure that site users are well informed
about the many aspects involved in purchasing bank-owned
properties.
Fidelity has also launched its Paragon wireless interface, which
enables real estate professionals to receive MLS data from any
browser-enabled device including mobile phones and hand-held
Personal Data Assistant devices.
Using the same user name and password required to access
Paragon, users can log into the system through their wireless
devices. Once logged in, they have access to a variety of searches,
including street name, MLS number, price and advanced combination
searches. The results of these queries include detailed property
information, driving directions and photos. Additionally, the
Paragon wireless interface provides users with listing agent
information for each listed property.
