1st Metropolitan Mortgage set the PACE (Partnering to Achieve
Customer-Focused Excellence) during its annual conference, held
April 11-13 at The Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta. The
conference focused on the importance of building relationships in
order to continue to develop a strong foundation and promote
growth.
During the conference, 1st Metropolitan branch managers and
other brokers from around the country had the opportunity to learn
about working their leads from Rick Ruby, founder of Golden
Mortgage Corporation and The Core. The mortgage industry expert
spoke on loan origination, team building and employee retention
while maintaining a balanced life and working a 40-hour workweek.
Attendees also learned to develop more efficient goal-setting and
sale strategies from Warren Greshes, president of Speaking of
Success, a company that focuses on offering leadership and
management skills to businesses.
1st Metropolitan added an extra day to the conference based on
demand and offered management and marketing sessions as well as a
session to help mortgage originators conduct first-time homebuyer
seminars. Another session schedule offered information on 1st Met's
reverse mortgage division and how to recognize, hire and train
effective loan officers.
