Ellie Mae has also recently added Nationwide Processing to its select list of partners. Nationwide Processing is a Virginia-based organization with a processing center in India. Unlike offshore processing providers that have loans processed in an assembly-line style, Nationwide Processing ensures that each loan is handled from start to completion by the same processor. A three-year old company, they provide contract processing services for Carteret, one of the nation's largest branch organizations. "We recognize that one big resistance to outsourcing loan processing is simply a trust factor," explains Guru Amrit, president of Nationwide Processing. "Outsourcing one's processing is touching the heart of a broker's organization and therefore trust is critical.
