Ellie Mae launches Encompass processing networkMortgagePress.comEllie Mae Encompass Ellie Mae, an award-winning provider of innovative software and services for the mortgage industry, has officially launched its Encompass Processing Network, enabling originators using the Encompass Mortgage Automation System to seamlessly leverage the services of reliable contract processing companies. "Our goal is to establish the mortgage industry's most trusted source of easily accessible contract processing services," said Joseph Puthur, director of hosted and professional services at Ellie Mae. "With the launch of the Encompass Processing Network, Encompass users now have immediate access to reliable, knowledgeable and savvy contract processors. Today's mortgage broker is challenged to locate and hire processors who can meet the growing demands of origination and compliance. By leveraging the Encompass Processing Network and its participating partners, brokers are able to immediately connect with reliable processing resources that lower operating costs and raise customer satisfaction." Ellie Mae has also recently added Nationwide Processing to its select list of partners. Nationwide Processing is a Virginia-based organization with a processing center in India. Unlike offshore processing providers that have loans processed in an assembly-line style, Nationwide Processing ensures that each loan is handled from start to completion by the same processor. A three-year old company, they provide contract processing services for Carteret, one of the nation's largest branch organizations. "We recognize that one big resistance to outsourcing loan processing is simply a trust factor," explains Guru Amrit, president of Nationwide Processing. "Outsourcing one's processing is touching the heart of a broker's organization and therefore trust is critical. Being one of the few members of Ellie Mae's Encompass Processing Network instantly provides that trust, since Ellie Mae is very selective in accepting partners to this network." At launch time, the Encompass Processing Network has a total of four partners onboard. In addition to Nationwide Processing, the network includes E-OPS Loan Processing, e4e and Contract Processing Inc. Ellie Mae is evaluating additional contract processing providers in order to offer Encompass users a wide range of trusted, cost-effective loan processing options.
