Credit Plus revamps offeringsMortgagePress.comOnline training, alternative credit reports
Credit Plus Inc. has introduced an online training tool, Credit
Plus University, that will help brokers and lenders work with the
company's products. The online training sessions will also focus on
the new credit report reissue/secondary use policy being reinforced
by the three major credit bureaus.
Credit Plus Inc. has also begun to offer alternative credit
reports, through a partnership with Payment Reporting Builds
Credit. Alternative credit reports include payment histories of
recurring bills, such as rent, utilities and childcare, providing a
more accurate credit picture of applicants without traditional
financial records, such as credit card or loan payments.
Another tool that Credit Plus provides is its credit score
advisory tool, ScoreWizard. Using the What If Simulator, mortgage
professionals can simulate changes to the consumers credit file and
predict the score that will result from those changes.
