CampusMBA unveils interactive mortgage management simulation MortgagePress.comCampusMBA, Advanced Interactive Mortgage Management (AIMM), School of Mortgage Banking III
CampusMBA, the education division of the Mortgage Bankers
Association (MBA), has unveiled its state-of-the-art Advanced
Interactive Mortgage Management (AIMM) simulation which debuted as
part of the School of Mortgage Banking III (SOMB III) in Chicago.
AIMM is a standalone simulation that replicates the experience of
running a mortgage lending operation.
"The launch of AIMM simulation represents another landmark for
CampusMBA as we continue to bring innovative and meaningful
training solutions to the mortgage industry," said John Golden,
senior vice president of education for MBA. "AIMM simulation is a
highly effective tool that will be leveraged not only by School of
Mortgage Banking III participants, but also by organizations across
the nation looking to improve and test the strategic and tactical
mortgage banking management skills of their staff."
AIMM simulation is not only the center piece of the School of
Mortgage Banking III experience, but CampusMBA will license its use
to organizations that want to use it for internal training
purposes. While AIMM simulation is a very sophisticated
application, it is extremely user-friendly and intuitive for
participants.
AIMM simulation allows participants to analyze the financial
structure of a mortgage banking firm and the relationship between
operating policies and profitability. The simulation incorporates
industry trends and current economic indices along with necessary
operational expenditures. Through the AIMM simulation module, users
have the opportunity to make strategic decisions based on these
various factors and seek to maximize the profitability of the
lending operation. The process demonstrates the cause and effect
relationship of the decisions made so participants can better
understand key decision making strategy and techniques that will
help in future business transactions.
