Byte Software announces new partner interface programMortgagePress.comByte Software, ByteLink, real estate settlement services, BytePro, MISMO
Byte Software has announced the launch of ByteLink, a new
partner interface program that facilitates the ordering of real
estate settlement services from within BytePro, its flagship loan
origination software. ByteLink enables providers of credit reports,
title reports, flood determinations, appraisals and other services
to embed their services directly within BytePro, making those
services instantly available to tens of thousands of mortgage
professionals.
ByteLink uses standardized MISMO transactions to seamlessly
communicate information from BytePro to the service provider. The
interfaces allows for two-way communication so that the completed
documents, such as appraisal reports, are accessible directly from
within BytePro. ByteLink also allows for instant deployment of
newly developed interfaces to the BytePro user base, eliminating
the need for the end user to manually update their software.
In addition to standardized credit, title, appraisal and flood
interfaces, ByteLink offers a customizable interface solution that
allows a variety of other partners, such as lenders, mortgage
insurance companies, and product and pricing vendors, to develop
seamless interfaces to BytePro. The customizable solution allows
these service providers to define required fields, create custom
fields, and import data and documents back into the BytePro loan
application. In addition, it can automatically launch the service
provider's Web site so that a transaction can be initiated from
within BytePro and completed on the Internet. ByteLink includes
marketing promotions of the partner's services to the Byte Software
customer base. This marketing facilitates increases in transaction
volume while decreasing new customer acquisition costs for the
service provider. The program may include placing the partner's
branding and logo within the BytePro application.
"With the introduction of ByteLink, it is now easier than ever
for service providers to create interfaces directly within
BytePro," said Joe Herb, general manager of Byte Software. "We are
especially pleased to offer the customizable interface option to
partners who offer services that are not directly addressed by
MISMO specifications. With the ability to create custom fields and
import virtually any data back into the loan application, this
option allows a variety of partners to quickly create powerful
two-way interfaces to BytePro."
As an alternative to ByteLink, Byte Software continues to
license its BytePro Software Development Kit (SDK) to industry
partners who wish to build their own custom interfaces to the
BytePro application. The BytePro SDK allows direct access to the
loan application data and is suitable for use by providers of
software such as CRM software, servicing systems and core banking
systems.
