Radian Guaranty Expands Eastern Sales ForceMortgagePress.comexpansion, global credit enhancement, risk management Radian Guaranty Inc., a provider of mortgage insurance products and services and subsidiary of Radian Group Inc., today announced the continued expansion of the company's regional sales force with the addition of four new account managers for the states of Kentucky, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, South Carolina and West Virginia. Recent hires Cathrine Black, Nicholas Costas, Paul Gawin, Bonnie Kamaris, Rita McTigue and Gary Simmons will be responsible for new account development, and maintaining relationships with current clients in their respective territories. "Radian is focused on expanding client relationships at the local level," said Mike Dziuba, senior vice president of field sales for Radian. "This sales force expansion demonstrates that, even in this current challenging mortgage landscape, Radian is seeing growth." Mrs. Black, whose territory is Northern Ohio, has held positions as a loan processor, loan officer and a secondary marketing coordinator in her 11 year career in the mortgage banking industry. She most recently served as an account executive for Greenpoint Mortgage, and will serve as vice secretary of the Mortgage Society of Ohio beginning in the fall of this year. Mr. Costas brings more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry, most recently gained while serving in sales and account management positions with GMAC-Rescap and Greenpoint Mortgage Funding. He is a graduate of Boston University, and served on the board of directors for the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association. As a Radian regional account manager, his territory includes New England. Mr. Gawin brings 25 years of experience as a sales and lending mortgage executive, and will apply his extensive experience in business development, strategic planning, training, and operations management to a territory that includes Southern Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Mr. Gawin held positions with Freddie Mac and another private mortgage insurer prior to joining Radian. Ms. Kamaris, account manager for South Carolina with 28 years of experience in the mortgage industry, has held wholesale and retail mortgage account management positions with SunTrust Mortgage, American Brokers Conduit, Chase Home Finance, and Bank of America. She is a member of the South Carolina Mortgage Bankers Association and Mortgage Bankers Association of the Carolinas. Ms. McTigue, account manager for upstate New York, brings more than 20 years experience in banking and mortgage lending, holding various account management positions with American Brokers Conduit, IndyMac Bank and SunTrust Mortgage before joining Radian. McTigue holds degrees from Indiana University, Greenville College and Roberts Wesleyan, and is a past President of the Rochester Association of Professional Mortgage Women. Mr. Simmons, who has more than 20 years of experience in mortgage banking, has held positions as a loan officer with GMAC Mortgage, GE Capital Mortgage, Traveler's Mortgage and Chase Home Mortgage. In his role as regional account executive, he partners with Radian account managers in the Eastern U.S. to help build relationships and provide clients with superior customer service.
