Sollen Technologies offers simplified integration with new lender onlineMortgagePress.comSollen Technologies, Lender Online, PPE, Enterprise Service Bus Sollen Technologies, an Internet-based application services provider of product, pricing and execution capabilities for the mortgage industry, has announced the latest version of Lender Online, the original Web-based product and pricing engine (PPE). Sollen's PPE has been completely revamped to give it a new look and feel with added functionality to better meet the needs facing mortgage lenders. "Our focus was two-fold: technological enhancement and customer satisfaction," said John Brumfield, VP of operations. "Ease of use combined with additional functionality will result in a much faster response to the borrower. In addition, the new portal will provide a more flexible growth platform for our existing and prospective customers." The basis for the re-architecture of Lender Online was to allow easier integration with other technologies. This led to the development of a proprietary embedded Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). The ESB enables common attributes and functions of third-party services to be shared, meaning less work is required when a new service is added. Additionally, Sollen has added new functionality to Lender Online that will allow comprehensive product comparisons providing the user with more information at the point of sale. Clients will now have more control over the configuration of their system, allowing them more flexibility to adjust to an ever-changing marketplace. "We were able to dramatically enhance our user interface without compromising the integrity of our existing rules engine which is unsurpassed for accuracy in the market," said Brian Drevicky, VP of information technology. Based on customer requests and the rapidly changing industry, Sollen has recreated Lender Online as a platform developed to enhance future growth opportunities. Enhancing the platform will allow Sollen to strengthen its existing relationships and build future partnerships, which will be the focus of expansion through 2009.
