Point 6.2b addresses the first mandatory compliance update for the new RESPA Rules that include a HUD modified Regulation X and updated Servicing Disclosure Statement, required to be used beginning Jan. 16, 2009. The new download requires 6.2 or 6.2a be installed on a Point users computer and allows users to remain in compliance while upgrading to the latest version of Point and its capabilities. "Calyx strives to ensure that our customers are always in compliance with government regulation changes," said Ted Hicks, product management group manager at Calyx Software. "As the mortgage industry's rules and regulations become more strict and require greater compliance, we are dedicated to supporting the changes and providing Point users with the tools necessary to abide by them."
