(LPS), a provider of integrated technology and services to the mortgage industry, has announced that mortgage banking veteran Pete Maselli has joined LPS' office of the enterprise team as a senior vice president of strategy and business development. In his new role, Maselli will provide strategic counsel and leadership at key enterprise-level executive client meetings and represent LPS with the government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs), the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Office of the Comptroller (OCC), the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and other strategic governmental partners. Maselli, based in Washington, D.C., brings more than 25 years of successful mortgage banking experience to his new role. Prior to joining LPS, Maselli spent more than 15 years at Freddie Mac, where he led numerous strategic initiatives, including the Loan Prospector automated underwriting business. He also recently held key marketing and strategic planning positions at Overture Technologies and LandAmerica Financial Group.
