CAMB honors American Pacific Mortgage as its Affiliate of the Year

Aug 06, 2009

American Pacific Mortgage Corporation (APMC) was honored with the prestigious "Affiliate of the Year" Award at the 2009 California Association of Mortgage Brokers (CAMB) Annual Convention held in San Diego. American Pacific Mortgage has a long history of supporting CAMB. Many APMC associates have served CAMB at both the state and local levels, holding positions as state president, local chapter presidents, board members and legislative chairs. "Hearing Fred Arnold (CAMB President) reading off our accomplishments and receiving the honor of "Affiliate of the Year" was truly a humbling experience, especially on the heels of Wells Fargo winning this award last year," said Bill Lowman, president of American Pacific Mortgage. "Knowing that the criteria for this award includes community service as well as our contributions to the mortgage industry, makes this honor even more special." Some of the achievements that ultimately gave American Pacific Mortgage the victory were the regular volunteering at the local soup kitchen, annual fund raising and volunteer work supporting the Relay for Life, and the fundraising and organizing of a home makeover for a Sacramento family caring for a severely handicapped child. Each year, CAMB chooses one company, from the large number of member companies who are actively supportive of the mortgage broker community. "I was really happy to see American Pacific Mortgage win the highest honor that CAMB bestows on an organization," said Fred Arnold, CAMB immediate past president. "Through their leadership and their support of the mortgage broker community, American Pacific Mortgage is the model of best practices for our entire industry to follow. Congratulations to Kurt, Dave, Bill and the rest of the team at APM." For more information, visit www.apmortgage.com.
