Zillow.com and Seattlepi.com launch co-branded real estate site

Sep 01, 2009

Real estate Web site Zillow.com and leading news and information destination, seattlepi.com--read by more than 3.7 million people in the Seattle area and around the world every month--have announced the launch of a co-branded real estate Web site, powered by Zillow. Seattlepi.com now includes Zillow's powerful search functionality, whereby users can enter any home address, neighborhood or locality and find Zestimate home values, recently-sold homes, homes for sale, open house listings and local market data on a co-branded version of Zillow.com. Visitors to the co-branded site can also access all of Zillow's real estate community content via Zillow Advice and mortgage rates and information from Zillow Mortgage Marketplace. "We've created a one-stop shop for anyone interested in Seattle real estate. PI visitors can now find Zillow's hyper-local real estate data, from the neighborhood and ZIP-code level down to individual homes, alongside seattlepi.com's community news and real estate reporting," said Lloyd Frink, Zillow president. "The co-branded site has something for all Seattle-area residents whether they're in the market to buy or sell a home, want to refinance or are simply curious about home values and sales in their neighborhood." "This partnership with Zillow significantly beefs up our online content and builds out our community news and information portal by giving readers access to rich real estate content and information on Seattle homes, neighborhoods and value trends via Zillow's cutting-edge technology," said Karl Johnson, sales manager, seattlepi.com. The launch of a co-branded Web site with the seattlepi.com follows Zillow's announcement in April 2009 that it would power the real estate Web sites for members of the Zillow Newspaper Consortium. Since that announcement, Zillow and 163 papers nationwide, including the Tampa Tribune and Richmond Times Dispatch, have launched co-branded Web sites. In total, 180 papers will launch co-branded Web sites with Zillow throughout 2009. For more information, visit www.seattlepi.com.
