PHH Mortgage names Michael J. Dirrane EVP of sales

Jan 14, 2010

PHH Mortgage has announced that Michael J. Dirrane has been named executive vice president of sales, effective immediately. In his role, Dirrane assumes national responsibility for outside sales and account management while strategically aligning all the business channels including private label outsourcing, real estate brands, wholesale, and correspondent lending. Dirrane will report to Mark Danahy, president of PHH Mortgage. Dirrane brings to PHH Mortgage over 25 years of mortgage sales and account management experience. He served as managing director of GE Capital Mortgage Insurance. Dirrane was also a founding partner of Amerin Guaranty. Amerin was sold to a competitor to form Radian, one of the nation’s largest mortgage insurers. Most recently, he was Fannie Mae’s VP of marketing for its Eastern Business Center. In addition, Dirrane has been chairman of the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency for the past 14 years and continues to serve as vice chairman. “Mike’s diverse business experience and fresh, strategic perspective will play a critical role as we continue strengthening PHH’s position as an innovative, profitable leader of the mortgage industry," said Danahy. "I am confident that his expertise will help move this company forward in ways that will enhance our bottom line, make us more efficient and allow us to deliver an even better customer experience, while always maintaining our commitment to responsible lending and the highest ethical standards.” “PHH is a great company, with some of the industry’s strongest assets, an excellent team and tremendous opportunities for growth," said Dirrane. "I look forward to working with my new colleagues, and once again with Jerry Selitto, to expand this franchise and ensure that we are always delivering for our clients across business segments as effectively and efficiently as possible.” For more information, visit www.phhmortgagesolutions.com.
