Apr 15, 2010

Chase has announced that it plans to hire 300 local mortgage officers in the New York Tri-State area in the next six months to help more Chase customers finance home purchases or reduce their monthly payments through refinances. “We want to make sure we have seasoned mortgage professionals to help our customers at 1,000 Chase local bank branches, the largest network in the area,” said Thasunda Duckett, Northeast manager for Chase home lending. “We know home loans are core to our relationship with consumers and especially important as the housing market begins to recover.” New loan officers will serve customers through bank branches in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, bringing Chase’s local home team to about 700. They will help consumers meet their home financing needs by working with personal bankers and referral sources, such as real estate agents and builders, as well as with their own network of homeowners. Chase is holding open house recruiting events this month in the following areas: ►Long Island: Tuesday, April 20, 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. 395 North Service Road, Melville, N.Y. ►Northern New York and Connecticut: Tuesday, April 20, 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. 2900 Westchester Avenue, 3rd Floor, Purchase, N.Y. ►New Jersey: Tuesday, April 20, 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. 194 Wood Avenue South, 4th Floor, Iselin, N.J. ►Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island and Queens: Wednesday, April 21, 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. 8825 Fifth Avenue, Brooklyn, N.Y. ►Manhattan: Thursday, April 29, 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. 1 Chase Plaza, New York, NY For more information, visit www.jpmorganchase.com/careers.
