PRMG names Phil Deol as chief strategy officer

May 05, 2010

Paramount Residential Mortgage Group (PRMG) has announced the hiring of Phil Deol as its new chief strategy officer. Phil brings nearly 30 years of executive level management experience in the mortgage industry. His background includes sales, marketing, recruiting and was responsible for driving wholesale, retail, builder and joint-venture production for companies such as Wells Fargo, Countrywide, Metrociti, and North American Mortgage. “We are very excited about bringing on someone of Phil Deol’s caliber onboard," said Paul Rozo, chief executive officer of PRMG.  "After my initial meeting with Phil, it was clear to me that he shared similar core values and is very much in alignment with our overall vision, message and philosophy at PRMG." Although Phil’s primary area of focus is slated for business development, his first assignment will be to dig deep into revealing and leveraging marketing opportunities specifically for the retail division. Additionally, he will be working hand-in-hand with our wholesale divisional manager and regional vice presidents to further business development and implement sales strategies to grow production in our journey to expand from a western regional player, to a prominent national lender.
