Jul 21, 2010

Radian Guaranty Inc., the mortgage insurance (MI) subsidiary of Radian Group Inc., has announced the promotions of two veteran sales executives, Angela Capone and Candice Racine, to the positions of area sales manager. With a combined three decades of MI experience, Angela and Candice will provide leadership, mentoring and training to Radian’s growing sales force. “We see opportunities to increase our share of new business by providing competitive products and services to our customers who serve low-downpayment borrowers,” said Michael Dziuba, senior vice president of field sales at Radian. “A larger sales team calls for additional leaders, and Angela and Candice are perfectly suited for these roles.” Capone has worked with Radian for nearly two decades, serving in a variety of sales and sales management positions, most recently regional account manager. In her new role, Capone will provide additional relationship management for customers, as well as leadership for Radian account executives throughout Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah, and Wyoming. She is a member of the Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers (FAMB), Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and National Association of Professional Mortgage Women (NAPMW). Racine has over a decade of experience working with Radian, serving most recently as regional account manager. As area sales manager, she will provide additional relationship management for customers, as well as leadership for Radian account executives throughout Florida, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, South Dakota, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Racine has completed several MBA and Appraisal Institute courses and is currently vice president of the Tampa Bay Mortgage Bankers Association. “With smaller areas of responsibility than our divisional managers, Angela and Candice’s leadership will help ensure we have the best-trained sales team in the field—a team that can educate our customers on the benefits of private MI versus government-funded FHA MI and help them grow their business profitably,” said Dziuba.
