Oct 05, 2010

BluFi Direct Mortgage, an online direct lender, has named Kimera Hobbs, PHR, as its human resources manager. Hobbs is responsible for recruiting to meet BluFi’s growth projections, as well as developing an infrastructure for human resource policies and procedures, training programs, and enhancing the positive culture at BluFi. Before joining BluFi, Hobbs was a human resources consultant for eStudySite Inc. in San Diego. Previously, she served as a senior human resources consultant and recruiter at Henderson Recruiting Group, also in San Diego. Prior to that, Hobbs was HR manager at ADCS for almost seven years. Hobbs attended University of California, San Diego (UCSD) from 1998 through 2001, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Excelsior College in 2003. “We have aggressive growth plans for BluFi in the upcoming year and we’re glad to have Kimera’s expertise in finding the right talent and creating efficiencies for our staff,” said BluFi Chief Executive Officer John Lee. “Her knowledge of HR management, combined with her strategic approach to hiring the right talent and developing a winning corporate culture, will help us to build the strongest team in online loan origination.” BluFi handles its underwriting in-house, enabling a loan to be underwritten in 24 hours or less. BluFi can also provide clients with an on-the-spot pre-qualification. “BluFi is already known as an outstanding online direct lender. My goal is to help BluFi become an employer of choice for mortgage professionals in Southern California,” said Hobbs. “We know our excellence is defined by our people and we are working to build the best team in the industry.” For more information, visit www.BluFi.com.
