Radian Guaranty Inc., the mortgage insurance (MI) subsidiary of Radian Group Inc., has announced that Brien J. McMahon has joined the company as its first chief franchise officer. In this newly created role, McMahon will serve as a key member of the Radian executive team, reporting to Teresa Bryce, president of Radian’s MI business. He will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of Radian sales and customer experience strategy. “Brien’s extensive experience in the residential finance and real estate industries gives him an insider’s understanding of our customers’ point of view, which is crucial to Radian since we always strive to provide the best customer experience,” said Bryce. “This insight combined with his proven ability to define a brand’s value and promote it successfully, makes him ideally suited for this new role at Radian and a valuable addition to our leadership group.” McMahon has 24 years of experience in financial services. He previously led national sales for PHH Mortgage as it grew to become one of the top 10 lenders in the nation. In 2000, McMahon moved into the real estate industry, where he played a major role in the expansion and development of many of the most well known brands in real estate, including Coldwell Banker, Century 21, ERA, Better Homes and Gardens and Sotheby’s. McMahon received a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Connecticut. For more information, visit www.radian.biz.
