Blueberry Systems Announces Release of New Imaging System

Oct 25, 2010

Blueberry Systems LLC, a provider of mortgage production solutions to the financial services industry, has announced the release of its Manifest Imaging System, which allows loan documents to be captured and indexed from any image file. The system can be integrated directly into Blueberry Systems' RELAY loan production platform or can serve as a stand-alone enterprise imaging platform. Using optical character recognition technology, Manifest is able to capture text from any image file format, including standard PDF files as well as document scanning devices, providing maximum flexibility for processing the diverse types of loan documents lenders must work with. Sophisticated algorithms provide trainable automatic recognition and indexing of documents through optical character recognition (OCR) and bar-coding technologies. "What's most impressive about Manifest is the rich functionality it provides to the user at his or her desk. It can capture document images, apply text recognition software, and index documents right at the workstation without the need for additional hardware or a dedicated imaging department," said Lloyd Booth, president and chief operating officer of Blueberry Systems. "Within the RELAY system, Manifest is integrated directly into the loan production workflow, providing dynamic, automated task management and task-specific document viewing." Manifest includes unlimited customizable document indices, multiple document transformation options, multi-page document handling abilities, tunable storage mechanisms, trainable character recognition, and customizable exporting options.
