ICBA Mortgage Solutions (ICBAMS), a provider of comprehensive mortgage services to help community bank members of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) originate, process, close, fund and sell residential loans, has named Michael Azzarello as executive vice president of national sales. In this new position, Michael will manage national sales production, which includes the company's sales team, and builds community bank relationships as they relate to mortgage production and loan fulfillment services.
"Mike brings an exceptional level of knowledge in working with community banks to this position," said ICBAMS President Scott Hall. "This solid experience coupled with his proven success managing a production team will serve the participating community banks very well."
Azzarello brings 34 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry to the position. His background includes regional and national production managemet responsibilities in retail, wholesale and correspondent lending channels. Previously, he has held senior level management positions with national correspondent lenders, including HomeSide Lending and Washington Mutual.
"ICBA Mortgage Solutions gives community banks the services and tools they need to be profitable in the mortgage business, while serving their customers' needs," Azzarello said. Azzarello is a member of the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) Society Committee of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and received his CMB designation in 2005, which demonstrates his diverse knowledge and dedication to the mortgage banking industry.
