Credit Plus Inc. has announced the promotion of Don Clement Jr. to the position of southeast regional sales manager. Clement has served as the company’s account executive for the New Orleans and Baton Rouge, La. market since 2003, when he merged his regional credit reporting agency with Credit Plus. “Don understands that Credit Plus’ whole focus is making the mortgage process easier for lenders. We’re extremely impressed with his ability to acquire new clients and educate them about our product and service benefits,” said Greg Holmes, the company’s national director of sales and marketing. “His experience as an entrepreneur and his commitment to providing exceptional customer service make me confident in his ability to grow the Credit Plus brand in his territory."
Clement will oversee account executives in the southeast and be responsible for maintaining existing accounts and engaging new business throughout Georgia, North Carolina, and the southeast. He will focus on increasing sales of the full range of Credit Plus products and services, which include credit reports, scoring tools, flood reports, AVMs, Warranted AVMs, tax return verifications and more.

A highly regarded speaker and educator on credit scoring and credit reporting topics, Clement also was a partner in a residential construction venture and was a frequent guest on, “The Real Estate Variety Hour,” a weekly radio program. In 2000, he was named one of the “Top 40 Under 40 Entrepreneurs” by City Business in New Orleans.
