Informa Research Services Inc. has announced that Chris Goode, an experienced mortgage banking professional, has joined the company as manager of mortgage lending. “We are committed to dramatically expand market share and breadth of coverage within all our lending product research areas,” said Paul Needels, senior vice president of the lending products division at Informa Research Services. “Accordingly, we are expanding our product management team which now includes Mavel Carlu, consumer lending research; Arthur Shaboul, business and indirect lending research; and now Chris Goode, mortgage lending research. Goode has more than 20 years experience in banking with a strong emphasis in mortgage banking. He held executive positions at leading financial firms, including Countrywide Financial, Home Savings of America, Aames Financial Corporation, California United Bank, and Glendale Federal Bank. He is a graduate of the University of Santa Clara and holds an MBA from California State University, Northridge.
