O’Brien, an experienced mortgage professional with many years of successful sales leadership in start-up and territory expansion, has been hired to develop new business relationships and educate, train and support high quality mortgage brokers in their respective markets. In his new role, O’Brien will be focused on building broker relationships and servicing brokers throughout the New York marketplace.

O’Brien joins TMS Funding with more than 20 years of success in developing and managing sales in mortgage wholesale and correspondent relations. For 12-plus years, O’Brien was employed by Flagstar Bank, most recently as vice president of sales/regional manager, where he increased originations through innovative technology and intuitive sales practices. Prior to holding this position, O’Brien was an assistant vice president of sales/area manager and an account executive at Flagstar Bank, where he consistently earned top ranks and awards in sales performance in by increasing revenues, profits and market share.
