Valuation Partners Joins Forces With Collateral Analytics for New Products

Feb 22, 2011

Valuation Partners, a national real estate valuations provider, has partnered with Collateral Analytics, a provider of automated valuation models (AVMs) and real estate analytic tools for the mortgage lending industry, to provide new, more accurate and powerful valuation solutions for lenders, servicers and investors. The move will significantly improve Valuation Partners’ current hybrid valuation solutions, which are already extremely popular among lenders working with properties in default. Valuation Partners is a national appraisal management company (AMC) with a network of 10,000 independent fee appraisers and a network of 30,000 real estate professionals in all 50 states. The initial results of the new partnership will include enhanced versions of RE Value Pro and Micro Market BPO, Valuation Partners’ two most popular hybrid valuation products available for lenders, servicers and asset managers. Both products will be redesigned to include Collateral Analytics’ state-of-the-art technology and price, sales activity and market condition reports. “We’re seeing incredible demand for fast, accurate, and cost-effective valuations in the mortgage servicing sector, which is still overwhelmed with distressed property,” said Bill Fall, chief executive officer of Valuation Partners. “With this partnership, our clients will still get the benefits of local experts who understand local market dynamics—only now they will enjoy a greater level of data and reporting than possible before. It represents a true step forward in the application of human skills as an enhancement to robust analytics.” Valuation Partners and Collateral Analytics will also work together on future solutions that blend analytics and expertise for lenders, servicers and asset managers who demand more thorough, trustworthy valuation options than are provided by broker price opinions, the current market standard for appraising distressed property, or automated valuation models (AVMs).
