Carlos Coloma Joins Kislak Mortgage

J.I. Kislak Mortgage LLC (Kislak Mortgage) has announced the appointment of Carlos Coloma as the Miami-Dade area manager. Coloma will be responsible for overseeing all retail production in South Florida, including opening a Kislak Mortgage office in Coral Gables, Fla. During the course of Coloma’s 25-year career, he has held the position of top producer nationally for many of the country’s most successful mortgage companies, including Wells Fargo Home Loans and Chase Manhattan Mortgage. During his tenure at Chase Manhattan Mortgage, he was one of the company’s top 10 producers in the nation. At Wells Fargo, he was a member of the President’s Club, a club for the Company’s top 20 originators in the country. Additionally, he was the recipient of the Vince Lombardi Award from Wells Fargo as the top originator in the State of Florida. Most recently, Coloma was a branch manager for MetLife Home Loans. “Carlos has a long history of originating a phenomenal amount of high-quality mortgages in South Florida. His relationship with the state’s builders and realtors is unparalleled,” said Eddie Scott, senior vice president and southeast divisional manager of Kislak Mortgage. “Beyond his own ability to generate business, Carlos is a tremendous teacher and mentor to the loan consultants who work with him and for him.” At Kislak Mortgage, Coloma will lead the company’s expansion efforts in the Miami-Dade area, recruiting top mortgage loan consultants and opening new Kislak Mortgage locations to serve local homebuyers.
