Felix Beck Joins Kislak Mortgage as Senior Advisor

J.I. Kislak Mortgage LLC has announced the appointment of Felix Beck as senior advisor to the Company. Beck will consult with Kislak Mortgage on growth, market penetration and product development strategies. Most recently, Beck was an active consultant and held the position of chairman emeritus for Chase Home Finance. Early in his career, Beck worked for the Kislak Organization, as the executive vice president and manager of the mortgage banking division. He later served as the chairman and chief executive officer of Margaretten & Company Inc. a publicly-traded mortgage banking firm that was acquired by Chemical Bank. “Felix is one of the most influential leaders in the residential mortgage industry. He has helped build numerous lenders into major regional and national originators,” said Tom Meyer, president and chief executive officer of Kislak Mortgage. “His history with Kislak will make him an incredibly valuable member of our team.” During his noteworthy career, Beck has held a variety of illustrious positions in the mortgage industry. Most notably, he was the resident of the Mortgage Bankers Association (1983 to 1984) and also served as a board member of the Federal National Mortgage Association (1985 to 1996). “I believe in what Kislak is doing and know that this firm has the ability to penetrate the mortgage market on a national level,” said Beck. “Kislak has a proud and successful history in the industry and I look forward to helping the Company grow their operations in the coming years.”
