Radian Guaranty Inc., the mortgage insurance (MI) subsidiary of Radian Group Inc., has announced that Marshall G. Gayden has joined the company as senior vice president of account management. Gayden will lead a 37-person team of account managers located across the country who are responsible for nurturing and strengthening Radian’s existing customer relationships. Gayden and his team ensure customer needs are met, with a focus on providing the most value to their customers through a combination of Radian products, services, training and customized strategic initiatives that help them grow their business.
“In the 22 years I have known him, Marshall has always focused on doing what’s right for his customers and ensuring they got the service they deserved, oftentimes exceeding their expectations,” said Brien McMahon, chief franchise officer at Radian Guaranty Inc. “Marshall’s extensive experience in the mortgage industry, track record of success in sales and his service oriented focus aligns perfectly to Radian’s philosophy when it comes to partnering with its customers, and makes him ideally suited to lead Radian’s account management team.”
Gayden, who has 27 years of experience in the mortgage industry, joined Radian after serving 21 years with PHH Mortgage, where he served as senior vice president of sales, managing the company’s national real estate related retail platform, a sales force of over 1,000 and $12.7 billion in annual sales volume. Previous positions at PHH included a variety of sales and sales management roles, including vice president of wholesale/correspondent lending and vice president of call center originations.
Gayden received a bachelor’s degree in English from Texas Tech University. He is certified in Six Sigma quality training and has pursued additional education in the areas of meeting facilitation, leadership essentials and management development.
