Ron Simmons Joins Axis as Chief Appraiser

Axis Appraisal Management Solutions has announced that Ron Simmons, SRA, has joined the firm as its new chief appraiser and director of valuation services. Ron brings an impressive range of experience in appraisal practice and technology that will serve Axis’ broad range of clients very well. Simmons has operated a successful appraisal practice for more than a decade and is a Certified Residential Appraiser in the Northern California area. He holds the SRA professional designation from the Appraisal Institute and a degree in organization behavior, development and change management from the University of San Francisco. Prior to appraisal practice, he worked for Levi Strauss & Company and was involved in developing one of the first computerized systems used by the company’s sales force. In the early 1990s, he held sales, regional and national sales manager positions with systems integrators and was credited by CompuCom Systems with steering the company into new outsourcing and revenue models using a total cost of ownership and per seat pricing model. He earned the Eagle award two years running, given to those in the top one percent of revenue generated.
