Crescent Mortgage Names Kelly Byers New COO

Crescent Mortgage Company has announced that Kelly Byers, current chief financial officer of the company, has been promoted to the position of chief operating officer and chief financial officer. Byers served as CFO of Crescent Mortgage since 2003. Prior to joining the company, Byers was controller/vice president and then president of Standard Mortgage Corporation of Georgia. Byers has served in auditing and mortgage banking since 1982. She has also served as the treasurer and president of the National Association Professional Mortgage Women (NAPMW) where she remains an active member. “I am truly excited to have Kelly as our chief operating officer,” said Fowler Williams, president of Crescent Mortgage Company. “Mrs. Byers is a consummate mortgage professional whose proven auditing, accounting, and leadership experience will add immediate value to our shareholders, employees, and customers in her new role with Crescent.”
