Jay Jacobs Named SVP of ServiceLink's Default Abstract Solutions Group

ServiceLink has announced that Jay Jacobs has joined the firm as senior vice president of Default Abstract Solutions. Jay will be responsible for the management and oversight of ServiceLink's Default Abstract Solutions center which is located in Irving, Texas. This center will provide title operations and support services for products specifically tailored to support the loss mitigation, default and real estate-owned (REO) efforts of servicers, banks and attorney firms. Jacobs joins ServiceLink with more than 25 years of experience in the real estate and default settlement services industry where he began his career in real estate for the oil and gas industry. Jay later assumed the position of president of Land Records of Texas (1994) which expanded into Land Records of America (2003). Prior to joining ServiceLink, Jay served as EVP of LPS National Default Services. Jay holds a BBA in business management from the University of Oklahoma. "We are excited to welcome Jay to the team and know that ServiceLink will benefit from his Default experience, industry relationships and deep product knowledge as we continue to expand and refine our default offering," said Jeff Coury, president and chief executive officer of ServiceLink. "Our new default abstract solutions center in Irving will provide the perfect complement to our existing national title platform, enabling us to ensure the distinctive needs of the default industry are met."
