Mortgage Information Services Announces Integration With UCDP

Dec 02, 2011

Mortgage Information Services Inc. (MIS) is proud to announce that it is integrated with the Uniform Collateral Data Portal (UCDP) and is compliant with the Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD). MIS tested the process in advance of the Dec. 1 deadline set by the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) for appraisal data delivery to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and went live this week. Clients of MIS working with the government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) will continue to be able to place their orders through MIS’s proprietary Web-based order placement and tracking platform. They will not need to take the additional step of uploading the appraisal report themselves to the UCDP as MIS has the ability to deliver it to both the client and the GSEs. In the current environment, MIS prides itself on providing services that streamline the valuation, title and closing processes, allowing their clients to focus on growing and maintaining their businesses. MIS has been a national provider of real estate information to the residential mortgage market since 1990, offering title insurance, closing and valuation services to loan originators and servicing companies.
