The Housing Policy Council (HPC) of The Financial Services Roundtable has announced the promotion of Paul Leonard to senior vice president of government affairs. Leonard joined the HPC as its first director of government affairs in September 2003. The Financial Services Roundtable represents 100 of the largest integrated financial services companies providing banking, insurance, and investment products and services to the American consumer. Member companies participate through the chief executive officer and other senior executives nominated by the CEO.
“Paul has done an outstanding job in leading the Government Affairs department of HPC over the past eight years, spearheading pivotal policy issues such as GSE reform and foreclosure prevention, and this promotion is well deserved,” said John H. Dalton, president of the HPC.
Roundtable member companies provide fuel for America's economic engine, accounting directly for $92.7 trillion in managed assets, $1.2 trillion in revenue, and 2.3 million jobs.
