Veros Adds Charles Rumfola as SVP of Strategic Initiatives

Jan 12, 2012

Veros Real Estate Solutions has announced the addition of Charles Rumfola, formerly vice president of single-family at Fannie Mae, as senior vice president of strategic initiatives. Rumfola joined Fannie Mae in 1992, and most recently, served as VP of single-family strategic initiatives. Part of his responsibilities included leading the Uniform Mortgage Data Program (UMDP) initiative, a directive from the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) to standardize appraisal data and delivery of that data electronically to the government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs), Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. "We are honored to have Chuck join our team," said Darius Bozorgi, president and chief executive officer of Veros.  "Chuck has made significant contributions to the mortgage industry during his tenure at Fannie Mae, and I am confident his expertise and vision will further propel Veros’ growth and enhance our role in an industry that continues to navigate through an exciting period of redefinition.” Rumfola will be primarily responsible for managing numerous key initiatives for Veros in the secondary markets. He will be based out of Washington, D.C. "I’m pleased to announce my transition to Veros," said Rumfola. “Veros is leading the charge in providing solutions that deliver much needed transparency, accountability and improved loan quality to the U.S. housing finance system. I look forward to playing an integral role in continuing that vision.”
