Scott Houp Joins Kinecta as Director of National Correspondent Wholesale Loan Production

Kinecta Federal Credit Union has announced the hiring of Scott Houp as director, national correspondent wholesale loan production. Reporting directly to Kinecta Senior Vice President, Chief Credit Officer Brian Robinett, Houp will be responsible for overall residential mortgage loan sales production through various lending channels, as well as the development of new loan accounts and business relationships through sales, marketing and referrals. He will be based out of Kinecta’s Chicago Mortgage Operations Center.
“One of Scott’s greatest assets is his ability to attract and retain top-tier talent, which will give our wholesale program yet another competitive advantage,” Robinett said. “His excellent track record of developing relationship-driven sales teams is consistent with our mission of providing outstanding service as we continue to expand nationwide.”
Houp joined Kinecta from MetLife Bank, where he was central division sales leader of the institutional lending group overseeing a 20-state territory with nearly 40 sales leaders, account executives and correspondent associates. He previously served as senior vice president with Bank of America, and has held senior level positions with CFC, Washington Mutual, and other savings and loan entities over his 25-year mortgage banking career.
