Urban Financial Group Inc. has announced the addition of Ryan Menerey as an account executive for its Reverse it! wholesale lending team. Menerey is a former regional account manager for Genworth Financial with nearly a decade of collective experience in the sales and mortgage industry and several years in the reverse sector specifically.  “We were looking for someone to help us as we continue to grow our wholesale business,” said Sandy Tennekoon who oversees wholesale relations and business development for Reverse it!—Urban Financial’s wholesale lending division. “Ryan is a great fit to our existing team." Ryan Menerey has been in sales and the mortgage business since 2003, shortly after graduating from the University of Michigan. He started his career in wholesale mortgage lending in 2006 with IndyMac. After rising through the ranks and becoming a top producer at IndyMac, he transitioned into the reverse mortgage space in 2009 with Genworth Financial and helped grow their wholesale division from its infancy, managing west coast production. “We are excited to have Ryan as a part of our wholesale team,” said Sherry Apanay, managing director of sales for Urban Financial Group. “We believe his industry expertise and commitment to customer service will bring tremendous value to our company.”
