REMN Adds Lisa Marra as Area Renovation Sales Manager

Real Estate Mortgage Network Inc. (REMN) has welcomed Lisa Marra to their growing Columbia, Md. office. A veteran mortgage loan originator, Marra is also a renovation lending expert and will assume the role of REMN’s area renovation sales manager for the state of Maryland. With a passion for home restoration and an in-depth knowledge of the regulations surrounding the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development's (HUD) complex 203(k) mortgage products, Marra is the ideal source for helping Maryland residents turn houses in need of renovation into affordable dream homes. Marra has worked in the lending industry for nearly 25 years. She has strong experience with FHA/VA, conventional and construction related lending practices, garnered from years of working with major institutions and through running her own brokerage. A nationally-recognized 203(k) expert for 12 years, Marra has helped facilitate approximately 700 203(k) mortgage transactions during the course of her career. In the role of renovation sales manager, Marra will work hand in hand with REMN’s innovative 203(k) Concierge Service associates, helping current and potential Maryland homeowners turn distressed houses into dream homes. Launched in 2011, REMN’s 203(k) Concierge Service supports the entire 203(k) loan process with a dedicated team of REMN account managers who will be involved every step of the way, from the loan’s origination through payments made to contractors for necessary renovations. Most lenders do not offer 203(k) loans because the complexity of the product often leads to unexpected problems.
