Lenders One Mortgage Sees 18 Percent Annual Rise in Volume
Lenders One Mortgage Cooperative, a national alliance of community mortgage bankers, correspondent lenders and suppliers of mortgage products and services, announced that it had a record origination volume in 2011 of $106.7 billion in loans, an 18 percent increase over its 2010 volume. The cooperative added a record 49 new members in 2011, bringing the current membership to 221 mortgage bankers.
“It is no surprise we surpassed 200 members and originated more than $100 billion in mortgages in the same year because of our commitment to supporting our members,” said Scott Stern, chief executive officer of Lenders One. “The Lenders One secondary marketing system helps our members increase their revenues while our settlement services and marketing programs help our members decrease their expenses and expand their market share.”
Lenders One reported loan production in all 50 states in 2011, which included conventional, FHA/VA, jumbo and other specialty loans.
“Lenders One is attractive to a diverse group of mortgage bankers because it offers a variety of programs to our members,” said Stern. “We stay focused on providing members with new initiatives and partnerships that help them improve their bottom line.”
