Gateway Mortgage Group has announced its entrance into the south Houston market with its newest branch in Matagorda, Texas. Local mortgage industry veteran Teri Treadway will manage and grow the new retail branch with her staff. Treadway has more than 33 years of experience in the industry and was most recently a branch manager with Cornerstone Mortgage where she helped more than 10,000 families obtain home loans. She specializes in assisting homeowners who seek industry and local expertise on a variety of mortgage loan programs.

Treadway chose to join Gateway for its entrepreneurial platform and corporate support, which significantly alleviates operational burdens for the staff, allowing them to maintain a strong focus on meeting their clients’ needs.

Treadway and the branch also support the local Boys and Girls Club and Rotary Club in Bay City. She is a Matagorda food drive and Texas Oilman volunteer as well as a sponsor for the Texas Coastal Conservation Association, Ducks Unlimited, Texas Trio tournament and Latchkey Program.
