Mortgage Contracting Services LLC (MCS) has announced he opening of a new location in Ruston, La. The 10,300-square-foot facility is MCS’ third site and is scheduled to be in full operation by the end of August. As national unemployment rates remain high, MCS is doing its part to fuel job creation in rural America. The company will add approximately 90 jobs over the next few years in support of the local economy. MCS is offering both full- and part-time positions, with evening shifts available starting in September.
“In every aspect, Ruston scored very high when considering where to open our newest location," said Dan Hollingsworth, mayor of Ruston. "We are very excited about the location of a new MCS business center in Ruston. We have enjoyed the opportunity to work with MCS CEO Caroline Reaves and her staff toward this objective. MCS is a high-quality company and will be a centerpiece in our efforts to provide quality jobs in the future.”
MCS teamed with Louisiana Economic Development, Louisiana Tech University and the city of Ruston to formally announce the Ruston site during a press conference at Louisiana Tech on July 9.

No other community had private entrepreneurs willing to commit and accomplish. No other community had public officials dedicated to attracting employers like ourselves that can provide opportunity and advancement to the citizenry.”
