Sheri Ellen Schwartz to Oversee Strategic Growth at Hammerhouse

Hammerhouse LLC has announced the hiring of Sheri Ellen Schwartz as vice president, senior strategic growth partner. Sheri Ellen will help support Hammerhouse’s client growth and expand the company’s national mortgage recruiting infrastructure. Sheri Ellen will report directly to Drew Waterhouse, managing director and chief executive officer of Hammerhouse and will be based in the company's Orange County, Calif. office. Sheri Ellen’s sales, recruiting and management career spans more than 20 years. As she began her focus in the mortgage and banking industry in 2000 working internally with regional and national mortgage bankers and depositories. She has been involved in sourcing, attracting, helping to hire and retain all levels of professionals nationally in wholesale, retail, builder, real estate joint ventures and escrow-related organizations. She has extensive experience in both Sales and Operations placements from senior level leadership to individual contributors and is well connected and respected within the mortgage community. “We feel grateful to have the opportunity to build a business by creating value for the clients we work with and the candidates we represent," said Waterhouse. Sheri Ellen’s career began in 1990 with Kinko’s Inc. as a human resources manager and regional trainer for 35 branches in the Los Angeles area. She made a move to The Automobile Club of Southern California where she managed four states as a human resources representative responsible for employee relations, benefits and recruiting. Under her leadership the call center grew from 200 to 500 employees. Throughout her career Sheri Ellen has proven to be a trusted consultant to the candidates she recruits and the clients with whom she works.
