Lauren Guzak Joins RealtyTrac

Aug 03, 2012

RealtyTrac has announced the hiring of real estate data licensing veteran Lauren Guzak as vice president of data licensing. Guzak will lead and expand RealtyTrac’s data licensing operation, which already bulk-platforms foreclosure, loan, sales and assessor data and will soon be incorporating an even broader spectrum of data offerings thanks to the company’s recent acquisition of online data aggregator Homefacts. Guzak’s hiring will help RealtyTrac fully leverage its growing cache of proprietary real estate data and comes on the heels of the company’s acquisition of Homefacts in April. That acquisition exponentially expanded the breadth of the RealtyTrac real estate datamart, and Guzak will be charged with strategically developing an enterprise-class bulk data platform to serve the needs of a broad spectrum of value-added resellers, government, real estate and financial services companies. Guzak comes to RealtyTrac from DataQuick Information Systems, where she was director of strategic relations, leading the sales and account management efforts for B2B, enterprise-level real estate data licensing. Her clients included innovators in the real estate, lending, building, mapping, insurance, collection, inspection and appraisal space. Guzak was an integral part of DataQuick’s efforts to fuel Web-based portals for consumers and real estate professionals, and will aggressively drive RealtyTrac’s bulk-data licensing into new and untapped markets where foreclosure and home-related data is more relevant than ever. “I’m thrilled to join the RealtyTrac team and to build on the solid foundation of bulk data aggregation and platforming already in place here,” Guzak said. “The richness of the RealtyTrac real estate dataset provides ample opportunity to grow data licensing into one of the pillars of the business.”
