Residential Finance Corporation Expands Marketing Department

Sep 05, 2012

Residential Finance Corporation (RFC) has expanded its marketing department by hiring Tim Ferrell as director of digital strategy and Troy West as senior marketing analyst. These new positions support the continued expansion of RFC’s marketing department providing additional services and products to the mortgage lender’s home purchase and refinance customers. RFC also promoted Sean Burke to digital media coordinator and Annie Keener to marketing project manager. “RFC customers are very savvy,” said Jessica Manna, vice president and chief marketing officer at RFC. “They are looking for new tools to enable them to connect with their loan officer during the home mortgage process in the same ways they connect with online retailers, their credit card company and the other service providers they use daily—online and 24/7. With one difference —they also need that experience to be personal and transparent. The growth of our digital marketing team will enable RFC to provide additional online tools to further enhance the customer experience.” Ferrell was most recently the director of digital planning at Nationwide Insurance, where he managed direct and virtual teams to define digital tactic plans, directed digital creative efforts, created and managed digital editorial services as well as led development and execution of multiple digital marketing campaigns and initiatives. Prior to working with Nationwide Insurance, Ferrell was business development manager and senior marketing analyst at Gates McDonald in Columbus, Ohio; owner of Web marketing firm, Tributary Design; and marketing and communications specialist with Pinnacle Data Systems Inc. “Tim’s extensive tactical ability and leadership skills in developing and executing digital strategies will give us the additional expertise we need in this ever-changing online age,” Manna said. “He will give us added insight to meet our customers’ needs online.” West joins RFC with 15 years of experience in data analysis within financial services, including positions at National City Bank, PNC Investments and Alliance Data Systems. Keener’s new duties include implementing customer marketing programs, new projects and systems and training origination staff on marketing resources.
