James Meleones to Direct CRE Services at Clayton Holdings

Clayton Holdings LLC has announced that James Meleones has joined the company as senior managing director of commercial real estate (CRE) services. Meleones will be responsible for all aspects of Clayton’s commercial real estate practice, including loan-level due diligence, loan and portfolio valuation and portfolio oversight and strategy. He will report directly to Paul Bossidy, president and CEO of Clayton. Meleones brings more than 30 years of industry experience to Clayton. Most recently, 15 years at Bank of America where he was the national underwriting manager for the bank’s Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) business, responsible for structuring, underwriting and pricing all loans originated for CMBS securitization. Prior to Bank of America, Meleones spent 20 years at Continental Wingate Company, where he focused on commercial real estate. “Jim’s experience in underwriting CMBS will expand our presence in the securitized side of the business,” said Bossidy. “His knowledge of the market, strong relationships and managerial skills will position Clayton to deliver new services to lenders, investors and owners.”
