Corridor Mortgage Golf Outing Raises $20,000-Plus for the Special Olympics
The Corridor Golf Invitational held last week in Marriotsville, Md. to benefit the Special Olympics of Howard County, Md. An independent mortgage banker serving the East Coast and Colorado, Corridor Mortgage Group hosted the second annual event at Waverly Woods Golf Club. The golf invitational raised more than $20,000 for the Special Olympics of Howard County, more than doubling its inaugural year’s donation of $7,500.
“I want to share my heart with you about what this event means to Corridor as a company and to me personally," said Corridor Mortgage Group President Jerry Rader. "The opportunity to give back to our community and to a cause like Special Olympics is extremely rewarding. Together we accomplished a very good thing this Thursday, and made a lasting difference in the lives of people who need and deserve our help. As the leader of this company, I am proud of you. I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead such a wonderfully caring group of employees, and humbled by your response as a team to this opportunity to serve."
