Oct 02, 2012

Residential Finance Corporation (RFC) has announced the appointment of René Lewis as vice president of human resources. Lewis manages the strategic direction of employee relations, personnel development, compensation and benefits, and the company’s many culture-building and employee satisfaction initiatives. “The talented individuals at RFC are truly amazing; they have so much passion for what we do,” Lewis said. “The fact that RFC has been named as a ‘Best Company to Work For’ six times reflects that the processes work and that the company has a positive work environment. This helped me make the decision to join the company. I want to focus on how we can continue that pattern and continue to make RFC an exceptional place to work.” Lewis brings more than 13 years of human resources experience to RFC across the spectrum of human resources, including leadership development, strategy, and employee relations. Lewis holds a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) designation from the Society for Human Resources Management. Prior to joining RFC, Lewis was the director of human resources for Signature WorldWide in Dublin, Ohio. Lewis also held senior human resources positions at Red Envelope Inc. and GAP Inc. “Finding individuals who are dedicated and willing to strive for excellence is how RFC has been able to double its growth during the last year,” said Michael Isaacs, CEO of RFC. “René brings the knowledge and desire to help us continue that growth. We are thrilled to have her on our team of dedicated professionals.”
