Former LendingTree VP of Sales Mark Fowler Joins Residential Finance Corporation

Residential Finance Corporation (RFC) has announced that Mark Fowler has joined the company as chief revenue officer and vice president of production. Fowler is implementing RFC’s acceleration plan, which is designed to create demand for loans and achieve revenue results by incorporating Go To Market strategies (GTMs) on targeted revenue producing streams. He oversees business development and pipeline management as well as collaborates with the CMO to implement marketing initiatives supporting the revenue acceleration plan.
Fowler brings more than 28 years of industry experience to his position. He is also working with RFC executives to improve the alignment of each business group to support the company’s GTMs, including the sales process, business development organizational structure and rewards.

Prior to joining RFC, Fowler was senior vice president of sales and operations for LendingTree, in Charlotte, N.C. During his tenure, he optimized its sales and operations departments by automating and streamlining processes, achieving 178 percent greater efficiency with 44 percent fewer resources. While at LendingTree, Fowler was a member of the CEO’s Operations Team, where he helped define vision and strategic directions for all LendingTree vertical businesses. He also held management positions at Experian Interactive Media in Santa Monica, Calif; Xerox Global Services Inc. in Chicago; and FileNET Corporation in Chicago.
Fowler graduated from Arts Knox College in Galesburg, Ill., and began his career as a regional manager for Bankers Systems Inc. in Chicago.
