RFC Hires New Directors in Banking Operations

Residential Finance Corporation (RFC) has announced that Michael Timms has joined the company as director of capital markets and Betty Ann McCloud as director of operations. Timms will be based at the company headquarters and has more than 20 years of experience in secondary marketing and capital markets, which he continues to manage in his role at RFC. Before joining the company, he was director of capital markets at MetLife Bank and was responsible for all capital markets activities. Prior to MetLife, Timms was vice president of capital markets for First Horizon Home Loans. “RFC is focused on continually enhancing the loan process to make it faster and easier to greater benefit our customers,” said Michael Isaacs, CEO of RFC. “Strengthening our leadership in the banking operations department with individuals who are dedicated to customer service excellence is a vital part of accomplishing that goal. Mike and Betty Ann are experts in their respective fields, and we are delighted to have them join our team.” McCloud is located in Charlotte, N.C., and manages the operations team, which includes processing, underwriting and closing for the retail branching and Internet lending divisions. Throughout her career, she has had management roles in underwriting, quality assurance and branch administration/production with various mortgage companies, including Allen Tate Mortgage. She is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and America’s Mortgage Underwriters Group.
