NAMB Sees 300 Percent Rise in Certifications in 2012

The Certification Committee of NAMB—The Association of Mortgage Professionals has been very productive to date in 2012, achieving a 300 percent increase in Certified Mortgage Consultant (CMC), Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist (CRMS) and General Mortgage Associate (GMA) designees. This year promises to be an even greater success as NAMB gears up to allow people to take NAMB Certification exams at the upcoming NAMB National Conference in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand, Dec. 7-10. NAMB will continue to grow its Certification Program, to enhance its value to our designees, and to fine-tune its structure and procedures. The goal of the NAMB Certification is to raise the number of certified mortgage professionals to 1,000 by July 2013, and to launch a marketing campaign to both industry members and the public at large about the need to utilize a nationally designated mortgage broker.
