Kinecta Federal Credit Union has announced that Mike Squire has joined the company as director of mortgage lending operations. Responsible for Kinecta’s Chicago Wholesale Operations Center, Squire will report to Bruce Bingham, vice president of Mortgage Lending Operations. Squire will manage the day-to-day activities of the Chicago center, which processes loans for wholesale and correspondent markets throughout the mid-western and eastern United States.
“With his years of wholesale operations experience, we anticipate that Mike will fit right in with Kinecta’s strategy for growth. We look forward to his contributions to further our reputation for service,” said Joseph Whitaker, EVP, chief operating officer.
Squire has more than 20 years of experience in mortgage operations and sales management. He comes to Kinecta from PNC Bank, where he served as Associate Vice President, Operations Manager. Previously, he held the position of Vice President, Area Operations Center with Bank of America. Squire has also served in wholesale management positions at Lehman Brothers, Simple Capital Mortgage and Greater Acceptance Mortgage Corporation.
“I am excited about this new opportunity, as Kinecta’s experienced management team combined with the company’s potential for expansion in wholesale and correspondent lending points to a strong future,” said Squire.
